50s Cuffed Shorts Doll Clothes Pattern fits popular 18" dolls.
These vintage shorts feature turn up cuffs, piped or plain curved bag pockets, flat front and elastic back for easy pull on and off and cute suspenders.
You need medium or light weight fabric. It fits both my modern American Girl® Dolls and my vintage Kit Kittridge® doll. The suspenders attach in the front and cross over in the back
These shorts look really nice when the piping on the pockets matches the blouse.
Recommended fabrics:
Plains or patterns in quilting cotton, linen, medium weight denim (too heavy and the back elastic doesn't gather properly and the cuffs are too hard to turn). Light and flowy fabric like tencil or rayon looks good too.
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18” dolls like American Girl®
