Materials you need at home:
- Yarn for Hare: Beige for main parts – any yarn you like. I used 2 threads of “Alpaca d'Italia” from Seam (Light Fingering/3 ply, 50% Alpaca, 50% Nylon (Polyamide), 50g/300m) – 1 skein. Any color of your choice for the nose – small amount of smooth yarn almost of the same weight as for main parts. I used “Len tsvetnoi” from Pehorka (Sport/5 ply (12 wpi), 100% Linen, 100g/360m) – about 5 m (5.5 yards) used.
- Yarn for Cat: Grey for main parts – any yarn you like. I used “Jeans” from YarnArt (Sport/5 ply (12 wpi), 55% Cotton, 45% Acrylic, 50g/160m). Please note that I split “Jeans” from YarnArt in 4 threads and worked with 3 of them for the nose, leaving 1 thread aside. About 5 m (5.5 yards) used.
- Yarn for Bear: White for main parts – any yarn you like. I used “Bambino” from Nako (DK / 8 ply (11 wpi) 75% Acrylic, 25% Wool, 50g/130m). – 1 skein. Any color of your choice for the nose – small amount of smooth yarn. I used 2 threads of “Sirius Gold Line” from Nako (100% acrylic, 100g/440m). Please note that you have to work with 2 threads using this yarn weight. Pink – small amount to embroider the mouth.
Tip: Please make sure the yarn for the main parts and the yarn for the nose are of the same weight. * Steel hook matching the yarn weight. I used 1.5 mm (UK 4 ½, US 8). * Any stuffing. * 2 pairs of glass looped eyes (ø 6 mm) for Hare and Cat. Tip: You can use black beads instead of glass looped eyes. * 2 small black beads (ø 6 mm) for Bear’s eyes. * A piece of felt or fleece for the white of the eyes. * Sewing needle and tapestry needle for tightening. * Sewing thread of matching colors for sewing small pieces. * Dark grey eyeshadows for tinting. * Wooden stick for stuffing hard-to-get places. * Velcro or brush for brushing up the pieces.
