Materials you need at home:
For Grandpa Feodor: * Yarn: Beige for the body – Light Fingering/3 ply yarn (approx. 1/3 skein). I used “Pure Bamboo fine” from Alize (100% bamboo, 100g/440 m). Milky white for the head – DK/8 ply (11 wpi) yarn (approx. 1/3 skein) together with Lace/2 ply yarn (approx. 1/3 skein). I used “Tecno” from YarnArt (100% polyamide, 50g/100m. Length of “hair” is about 1” (2.5 cm)) together with “Forever” from Alize (100% microfiber, 50g/300m).
Pink and white for the eyes – small amount of Lace/2 ply yarn. I used “Forever” from Alize (100% microfiber, 50g/300m). * Steel hook matching the yarn weight. I used 1.0 mm (UK 6 ½, US 12) and 1.5 mm (UK 4 ½, US 8). * Any stuffing. * 2 small black beads for the pupils of the eyes (ø 3-5 mm). * Sewing thread of matching colors for sewing small pieces. * Sewing needle and tapestry needle for tightening. * Wooden stick for stuffing hard-to-get places. * A piece of milky white satin or crepe back satin for the nightgown and nightcap, small amount of cotton fabric for the shorts. * A piece of felt (3 mm thick) for the slippers. * Glasses for toys 6-7 cm wide. * Single core copper PVC electrical wire approximately 100 cm long 3 mm diameter. * Plaster – adhesive-backed fabric tape 1-1.5 cm wide to work up the wire (the one you use to cover wounds). * Some elastic and elastic thread.
For Pikolumb the Alien * Yarn: Bright green and pink for the arms, legs, horns and ears – Fingering/4 ply yarn (approx. 1/3 skein). I used “Hawaii” from Vita (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 50g/217 m). Milky white for the body – Lace/2 ply yarn (approx. 1/3 skein). I used “Mohair Delicate” from Nako (60% Acrylic, 40% Mohair, 100g/500m). Milky white for the head – DK/8 ply (11 wpi) yarn (approx. 1/3 skein). I used “Tecno” from YarnArt (100% polyamide, 50g/100m). Milky white or white for the eyes – small amount of Lace/2 ply yarn. I used “Forever” from Alize (100% microfiber, 50g/300m). * Steel hook matching the yarn weight.
